Update on the 30th Reunion DVD from Chauncy Hanley:

In an email to Cherrie Ward on July 22, Chauncy stated that DVDs of last year's reunion will be mailed out on July 28. If you ordered one, you should be receiving it soon.

Watch the July 26, 2010 edition of The Morning Drip from our friends at La Grande Life:

In this week's episode of The Morning Drip, Mike Surber sat down with Travis and Nathan, two members from La Grande's own rock band Salidity. Salidity is opening for The Keaton Collective this Friday night at Duke's Bar & Grill (1502 S Avenue). Duke's is quickly becoming one of the stand-out live music venues in La Grande, so you should definitely make it out on Friday night.

Don Henry's parents, Verla and Glen, just celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary! This picture was on the front page of The Observer

June 30, 2010.

LA GRANDE TRIVIA:

One of the older names for La Grande was "Grand Rond City" according to the authoritative Oregon Geographic Names by Lewis McArthur and published by the Oregon Historical Society Press.
